ADHC Disability privatisation CST Specific Consultation – March 2017 (PDF version)

Following the announcement that the tender for Clinical Services, including Community Support Teams (CST), was awarded to The Benevolent Society, a number of meetings were held with CST members and delegates to refine remaining issues relating to the privatisation specific to CST staff.

We have written to Family and Community Services (FACS) and sought CST specific consultation meetings so we can resolve these issues and others that arise throughout the privatisation.

FACS has indicated they will formally respond to issues already raised by the PSA and are open to further consultation.

If you would like a meeting in your workplace to discuss issues around the transfer such as role descriptions, enforceability of conditions and individual flexible arrangements, please email us at

Planning to keep your union strong – CST Training

The PSA will be holding a training day in late March for CST delegates and members so they can be trained in the upcoming challenges ahead including how we can keep our union strong so that members are supported before, during and after the privatisation.

PSA/CPSU – representing you with the Benevolent Society

As you move into the federal industrial relations system, you will transfer into our federal branch which is called the Community and Public Sector Union (SPSF Group NSW Branch). This is a national union registered under Commonwealth legislation.

You will receive the same excellent service with the CPSU from the same industrial staff but will come under the CPSU banner. We will let you know when this change occurs.
