Ausgrid Enterprise Bargaining update

Ausgrid Enterprise Bargaining update – March 2017 (PDF version)

Ausgrid Bargaining – sign up to the PSA (CPSU) and have your say!

As many of you may know, bargaining talks have started at Ausgrid. Since the notice of representational rights was sent to Ausgrid staff, there have been two bargaining meetings between the unions and the employer and a timetable of meetings has been agreed to between the parties.

Ausgrid’s new CEO has also met with the unions to show his commitment to getting an agreement in place.

This early period of bargaining is a crucial stage because this is the time that we set the agenda for the issues subject to negotiation going forward. There could not be a more crucial time to join your union and have your say about what you want in your enterprise agreement.

Join the union to have your voice heard

The PSA (CPSU) has been communicating with its members on the enterprise agreement through internal email updates. One particular issue that we are consulting on currently is wages and remuneration structure.

If you are a white-collar worker, such as a professional or paraprofessional officer, and not yet a member of a union you can join the PSA (CPSU) by following the link HERE.

Once you have joined, please email the Industrial Officer, Vera Babicheva to get onto the members’ email distribution list, on the following email address:

Please note that if you wish to provide your views anonymously we can facilitate this.

The PSA (CPSU) is also conducting workplace visits to consult on the agreement. If you wish to have an Organiser visit your workplace, please get in touch with the PSA (CPSU) Organiser – Ian Braithwaite on

We look forward to hearing your views and advocating on your behalf.
