Corrective Services Community Compliance And Monitoring Group - Public Service Association

Corrective Services Community Compliance And Monitoring Group

The PSA appeared before his Honour, Justice Haylen Friday 1 March 2013
regarding the closing date for staff to express interest in transferring to particular
location at their substantive grade.

The PSA stated before Justice Haylen this morning that the timeframe as imposed
by Corrective Services of 4 March 2013 is unrealistic as our members have not had
adequate time to review information and make an informed decision that will impact
upon their livelihood.

Justice Haylen has issued a direction which has given the PSA an additional two
weeks to consult with members about the information relating to CCMG.
It was also stated by Corrective Services NSW this morning that staff who express
interest in transferring to another location will do so at grade.

This means Officers do not transfer to a lower grade they maintain their substantive
grade.

The PSA will be meeting with delegates on Monday 4 March 2013 to discuss.

For additional information please contact Sharon Richards on 9220 0923.
