Corrective Services POVB bulletin benchmarking update – March 2017 (PDF version)

As you would be aware, there have been further sites added to benchmarking which includes:

• Wellington

• Silverwater

• Broken Hill

• Ivanhoe and Brewarrina.

The PSA has written to Commissioner Severin to address the issues raised in relation to Benchmarking. View the letter HERE.

PSA has also advised the Department that while we will continue to discuss benchmarking, we will not support implementation until the bed crisis is resolved.

The PSA attended Wellington Correctional Centre last Thursday and Friday and will be visiting Silverwater, Broken Hill, Ivanhoe and Brewarrina over the next two weeks to hear the concerns of members at each of these centres.
