As members will be aware, the Special Constables bargaining team, along with PSA staff, have been meeting with NSW Police Employee Relations to negotiate a new award. The PSA is organising a members meeting at Parramatta to provide an update on the award bargaining process and the direction forward, as well as consult with members and answer any questions:

  • Update on bargaining process to date and options for moving forward
  • Reestablishment of the Special Constables Vocational Group
  • PSA membership benefits:
    • Personal representation on individual Industrial Relations matters
    • Joining your colleagues in the fight for collective conditions and pay, including award negotiations
    • Journey Insurance
    • Provident Fund
  • General business

All Special Constables members are encouraged to attend and raise any questions they have about the bargaining process or any other matter. Non-members are also welcome to come and have a chat about the benefits of joining the PSA and membership forms will be available.
