PSA and CPSU make submission to NDIS Costs Inquiry

PSA and CPSU make submission to NDIS Costs Inquiry – March 2017 (PDF version)

The Association’s federal counterpart, the Community and Public Sector Union (CPSU), in consultation with the PSA, has made a submission to the NDIS Costs Inquiry.

The submission draws attention to the flawed and risky privatisation in NSW:

It is clear the privatisation of ADHC diminishes the choice and the rights available to workers. Despite the rhetoric, privatisation is also meaning less choice for ADHC clients and their families/guardians.

Read the full submission HERE.

We must continue to fight for the protection of jobs, pay, conditions and a government safety net for people with disability. This submission highlights the impacts of privatisation with the Federal Government and is just one of the many ways your union is advancing the campaign against privatisation.

Your union will always be with you

The fight against the privatisation is far from over.

The PSA will be standing with you against the Government in to the future.  However, for members who are forced into private sector organisations, we will continue to be your union and will not abandon you.

As you move into the federal industrial relations system, you will transfer into our federal branch which is called the CPSU (SPSF Group NSW Branch). This is a national union registered under Commonwealth legislation.

You can support the work of your delegates and the PSA by asking your colleagues to JOIN their union.
