Queanbeyan member BBQ – October 2017 (PDF version)

PSA General Secretary Stewart Little will be in Queanbeyan on Thursday 19 October to address local members and would like to invite all members to a lunchtime BBQ.

The BBQ is being held as part of a “Day of Action” for NPWS members, currently facing an aggressive restructure. This will not only have negative consequences on NPWS staff, but the people of NSW more generally.

It is important to note that the “Day of Action” is not Industrial action, and the PSA is not directing any of its members to stop work. However the PSA would like to invite all Queanbeyan members to attend the BBQ in their lunch breaks, have an opportunity to hear from the General Secretary, and lend your support to your NPWS colleagues.

The BBQ will be held between 12:00 and 1:00pm at 3 Farrer Place (in between the Government Offices and the Visitor Information Centre).

Approval has been gained from the local authorities to hold this assembly.
