PSA/CPSU News – 13 August 2012

Good afternoon members,

Today’s news is about local community networks and their activities.

Unions NSW is in the process of setting up local community union networks throughout NSW. The purpose of these groups is to campaign locally for great jobs, a thriving community and to give the local community a voice.

Below is a list of events involving the Local Union Community Councils (LUCCS) that will be taking place over the next month. Most of these meetings are first meetings. A few, such as Clarence Valley, are well established.

PSA/CPSU organisers, delegates and members, whether a resident or worker in the area, are encouraged to attend the meeting in their areas.

Select your local details and pass the invitation on to friends and colleagues.
