We know that, as Housing Services staff, you face challenges every day that could pose hazards and risks to your health, safety and wellbeing, in particular the counter staff being confronted daily with disgruntled clients. There is more that can be done than being skilled in Customer Service and Dealing with Difficult Customers.

Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) lunchtime presentation

The PSA’s WH&S educator, Suzanne Mann, is pleased to come to the Strawberry Hills Housing office to present at a lunchtime meeting on your WHS rights and responsibilities and to provide details about Health and Safety Representatives and how to elect them.

Presentation details are as follows:

• Time: 12.15pm (for 12.30pm presentation start)-1.30pm

• Where: Strawberry Hills, Ground Floor, Meeting Room 2

The PSA wants to support you

• Identifying PSA members in your Housing workplace to be Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs).

• Providing training and resources to elect and support HSRs.

• Informing you about your WH&S entitlements and the role of HSRs in your workplace.
