All training courses are held at PSA House, 160 Clarence St, Sydney unless otherwise stated.
NB: Lunch is not provided. Tearoom facilities available (tea,coffee,fridge,microwave)

Special leave for Trade Union Training
Most state public sector members are entitled to paid Trade Union Training Leave. Your delegate/organiser will be able to provide the details.
The general courses are available at no charge to PSA/CPSU members.
Non-members wishing to attend our training will need to submit a membership application first.
Workshop for Service NSW members
A workshop for Service NSW members will be held at PSA House on May 6, 2016 between 10.00 AM and 4.30 PM. The workshop is for any Service NSW member who wants to have a say, and contribute to good work-life conditions in Service NSW.
The course will cover: information about how your union works and what we can achieve together; issues at work; the upcoming enterprise bargaining process; discussion around the setting up of a committee to represent members; consultation and negotiation processes.
We are calling for interest from members across all Service NSW positions, and from both metro and country offices. Note that approved members will be eligible for paid trade union training leave, and, subject to a an approval process, country members may be eligible for a travel allowance.

Role of the Delegate Workshop for Community Service members – Newcastle
Two one-day Role of the Delegate workshops for Community Services (FACS) members will be held in central Newcastle on April 5 and April 12, 2016 between 10.00 AM and 4.30 PM.
The courses will cover: information about how your union works and what we can achieve together, the role of the delegate, issues at work, strategies and planning.
The workshops are for any Community Service member who wants to play an active role in their union, have a say, and contribute to good work-life conditions in their agency, and who are able to travel to Newcastle for the training. Note that approved members will be eligible for paid trade union training leave, but members will be responsible for their own travel costs.
We look forward to receiving your on-line application! Note that there are two courses, but each covers the same material. So please indicate the date you would prefer, and whether you are able to attend on the other date should the course on your preferred date fill-up.
