University of Western Sydney Listening meetings

University of Western Sydney listening meetings – September 2016 (PDF version)

Your enterprise agreement will soon be up for renegotiation and we want to hear what you have to say about it.

To kick-start the enterprise bargaining campaign, we will be holding Listening meetings across four WSU campuses on Thursday 8 September.

Listening meetings are designed so members can tell their union what is most important to them, and are a vital first step in negotiating a new enterprise agreement.

Whether you have concerns about pay, suggestions about conditions, or a vision for what you want your working life to look like, the PSA/CPSU wants to hear from you. Come to a Listening meeting and have your say to make a difference.

The University has been trying to scale back benefits and conditions for a long time. These Listenings are a chance to get on the front foot and fight for your rights. Your input and the input of your colleagues at these meetings will determine what we put in your Log of Claims.

The Listenings will be held in two separate sessions over lunch, with members able to choose to attend either a 12:00 – 1:00pm session, or a 1:00pm – 2:00pm session on
