Have you checked your pay?

Have you checked your pay – March 2019 (pdf version)
Since the start of term, the PSA has been inundated with calls and emails from members who have been paid incorrectly due to issues with the Department of Education’s new payroll programme.

Some members have had up to $400 missing from their pay and, in a number of cases, have not been paid at all for their work over the last few weeks. This is causing a huge amount of angst amongst members being underpaid and those trying to navigate the new system.

It has also dramatically increased the pressure on our members at EdConnect as they work to fix the incorrect pays of the last few weeks.

Check your payslips and log any incidents

The PSA is advising all members to check your payslips over the last few pay periods to ensure that they are correct. If you believe there is an error in your pay, you should log the incident with EdConnect as soon as possible.

If your issue is not resolved, forward it to us using the email address below.  Please include a brief outline of the issue, any steps you have taken to resolve it and the EdConnect incident number.

Send all relevant information to .

Think you might have been overpaid?

If you think you might have been overpaid, it’s important that you do not spend the money until you are sure it is correct. Overpayments can be recouped by the Department of Education. If you need any support or advice in relation to an overpayment, get in touch with your local delegate or call the PSA Member Support Centre on
1300 772 679.
