Interim Report on the POVB State Executive Election

Nominations for the POVB State Executive closed on 28 February 2019.

The results are as follows:

• Chair – Nicole Jess (elected unopposed)
• Vice Chair – Jason Charlton (elected unopposed)
• Country Vice Chair (2 positions) – nominations were received from:
  • Darren King
  • Natalie Howes
  • Gavin Hughes

A ballot is required.

• Secretary – Raylene Thompson (elected unopposed)
• Assistant Secretary – nominations were received from:
  • Thor Sutherland
  • Brian Alcorn

A ballot is required.

An interim report, as per above, has been prepared for the PSA Executive which is scheduled to meet on 25 March 2019.

A draw will be conducted on Tuesday, 11 March for the candidate positions on the ballots.

Ballots for the positions of Country Vice Chair (2) and Assistant Secretary will open on 15 March 2019.  Members of the POVB who are financial members of the Public Service Association as at 28 February 2019 will be eligible to vote.

The ballots are being conducted by an online voting company – ElectionBuddy.  You will receive your link to vote on 15 March 2019 in an email from an email address that looks like this:

Reminders will be sent to members who have not yet voted during the course of the ballot.

The ballots will close on Friday, 12 April.
