CALL FOR NOMINATIONS – FINANCE SERVICES AND INNOVATION DEPARTMENTAL COMMITTEE

 18 DELEGATES REQUIRED

The Government recently announced changes to the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.  Discussions have been held around these changes as to whether or not to proceed with the election of delegates.  It has been decided that the best way forward is to continue with the call for nominations for an interim departmental committee as per the electorates below. The interim departmental committee will play an integral role in the transition to the new clusters.

The Department of Finance, Services and Innovation Departmental Committee shall consist of 18 delegates.

Each nomination must be seconded by two other members in the same electorate as the nominee.  Nominees, nominators and seconders must be financial members of the Association as at 17 April 2019.

The call for nominations is as follows:

ADDITIONAL ELECTORATES

Additionally, to ensure representation across all of DFSI, members may nominate to the following electorates as described by function if they work within those areas.

NOMINATIONS AND CLOSING DATE:

Each nomination must be seconded by two other members in the same electorate as the nominee.  Nominees, nominators and seconders must be financial members of the Association as at 17 April 2019.

Nominations must be submitted via the Survey Monkey link emailed to members.

Nominations will close on 22 May 2019.  Forms must be completed via Survey Monkey by 5pm on 22 May 2019.

If there is a ballot, candidates who wish to have a profile available for voters to read should provide a brief statement of 300 words or less stating how they will best represent members’ interests.
