The previously titled NPWS Professional Officers Vocational Branch (POVB) has amended its charter in order for the Branch to formally represent ALL NPWS staff. As such the new National Parks Vocational Branch (NPVB) is calling for nominations to fill the Executive Committee.
Nominations are called for 12 Executive Committee Members for the above group.
The new Executive Committee will be made up of:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Women’s Contact Officer
- Park Programs Representative
- Field Officer Representative
- Administration Staff Representative
- Four delegate members
A ballot will be held at the AGM on 2 November to fill the above positions from the elected 12 Executive Committee Members.
Each nomination must be seconded by two other persons who are from the same group as the nominee. Nominees, nominators and seconders must be financial members of the Association as at 28 September 2020.
If there is a ballot, candidates who wish to have a profile sent with the ballot material should provide a brief statement of 300 words or less stating how they will best represent members’ interests. Space is provided for this purpose on the nomination form.
