Provident Fund - Public Service Association

Provident Fund

Once you have been a financial member for three months, all working members (no age limit) and retired members (up to 70 years) are entitled to the benefits of the Provident Fund.

What is the Provident Fund?

Upon your passing, the Provident Fund provides your loved ones with a benefit of $4000, which is usually paid within days after a completed and finalised claim.

It is important you complete the beneficiary form, so that this benefit can be paid to the person or persons that you want this to go to.

If the beneficiary form is not completed, the Trustees will normally pay the benefit to your spouse, a close relative or next of kin.

There is no additional membership cost to be a part of the Provident Fund.

To nominate beneficiaries, fill in this form and return to the PSA:

Don’t forget to take up another member benefit and ensure you have an up-to-date will. Simply call McNally Jones Staff on (02) 9233 4744 and quote your PSA membership number.
