Revenue NSW – Services and Collections – Blended work proposal
Revenue NSW – Services and Collections – Blended work proposal – April 2018 (PDF version)
The PSA met with Management last Friday however Members are continuing to come forward with various concerns surrounding the ‘blended’ work proposal.
- Conflict of Interest
- Work, Health and Safety
1. Management advised that they do not consider there to be a conflict of interest. That Collections are ‘recognised/rewarded’ does not impact as the person conducting a review would not be involved with the collection. Management advised they do not believe that the processes involved are in conflict with the Fines Act.
Based on information received the PSA is seeking a meeting with Senior Management to put forward members’ concerns.
2. Management advised the WHS concerns ‘are with’ the WHS committee. The PSA put forward that although some work has been done to ameliorate risk associated with WHS, staff should be assured of a safe place to work before being asked to undertake that work. Management advised they would expedite the issue and respond in the short term. The PSA is yet to hear anything further on this issue.
