2021 People Matter Survey closes today

The 2021 People Matter Survey is closing today, Friday 17 September. The PSA strongly recommends all Police members fill it out. It is worth noting that a lot of specific Commands, such as ROG, now have their own section of the survey.

The People Matter Survey allows you to have a say in your workplace and highlight any issues you currently see. Alternatively, if you don’t think there’s anything wrong at the moment it also allows you to express this belief.

The People Matter Survey can be very useful. It is something that management in Police listen to, with results co-ordinated through the Public Service Commission. All results are completely anonymous and will be de-identified, so it’s a great way to express an opinion about your workplace.

With members like you filling out the survey, it often helps the PSA to highlight issues the union has been raising, and cements these issues to ensure management is more open to talking and negotiating around things that affect you.

Your opinion is particularly important now due to the significant challenges experienced through the ongoing pandemic.

If you have any concerns you would like to raise personally, please contact the PSA’s Member Support Centre on 1300 772 679. Here all matters will be treated with the strictest of confidence.

If you are a non-member and have any issues, we still suggest that you fill in the People Matter Survey, then get in contact with the PSA, or your local Delegate, about what the union can do for you.
