ADHC Current bans – 22 September 2015 (PDF version)

PSA members in ADHC are reminded that a number of bans remain in force. Bans limited to the Hunter/Newcastle district, are now state-wide (points 6-8 below). Members are therefore directed to comply with the following:

State-wide bans

  3. On completing or providing work relating to the privatisation of ADHC specifically;
    1. Direct contact/communication with or from NDIA staff or their agents.
    2. The provision of NDIA related information to ADHC management or the NDIA or their agents – including life style planning in current NDIS sites; also to be extended in line with NDIS rollout.
    3. Attending ADHC, NDIA/NDIS or their agent’s internal meetings
    4. Attending planning meetings

  5. On completion of vehicle log books including odometer readings
  6. On client related TRIM

  8. On MDS (minimum data set)

Illawarra/Shoalhaven bans

  1. On financial audits including finmart
  2. On reporting returns
  3. On populating spreadsheets or tables relating to group home data

Please remember that the PSA’s bans relate to the whole of a task and process. If any banned information is requested, advise your supervisor that the work is currently the subject of an industrial ban and you are unable to complete it.

For example, in relation to the CIRT ban, you should not answer any questions about the CIRT, or assist others by providing documentation used in the CIRT. While the CIRT Action Plan needs to be followed, members are not to return the action plan to management. It can be incorporated into staff supervision.

It may help to remove yourself from the immediate area and the persons completing the tool.

If you experience any issues relating to these bans please speak to your workplace or departmental committee delegate.

For the original bulletins and motions relating to these bans, you can contact the PSA on
