Assisted School Travel Program – members’ bulletin
Recently, the PSA’s Regional Organiser Shane Elliott and Industrial Officer Anthony Wright met with ASTP members.
The meeting went well and a number of industrial issues were canvassed. By far, the issue of greatest concern at the meeting was about accessing the DoE’s flexible working hours’ agreement (FWHA) provisions.
Members advised they were still having issues in being able to accrue flex time. Other issues such as prolonged approval/decline of flex day applications was also canvassed.
Attached is a copy of the current FWHA for DoE Corporate employees. Members who are having difficulty in accessing the FWHA are encouraged to contact the union for support and we can take up your matter with ASTP management.
ASTP survey
The PSA is in the process of preparing a survey focussed on industrial issues in the ASTP.
Responses to the survey will assist the PSA to address the issues you are facing in your workplace.
The survey will be completely confidential and you are encouraged to participate once it is circulated.
How can you help?
