Your union, the PSA, has been advised by the Department of Customer Service (DCS) Industrial Relations team of a proposed Change Management Plan (CMP) realigning the Building Operations branch (affecting Building Compliance, Practitioner Compliance, and Investigations & Enforcement).
While management claims this realignment is designed to improve operational efficiency, the PSA has serious concerns regarding the compressed timeline and the depth of genuine consultation. Management has initiated a strict two-week consultation period, ending on Tuesday 18 August 2026.
Furthermore, members have already identified critical errors in the proposed organizational charts, specifically regarding the structure and reporting lines of the Plumbing team.
We need your feedback
To ensure your voice is heard and that the PSA can strongly advocate on your behalf, we need you to review the proposed changes and provide your feedback.
If you have concerns regarding:
- The correctness of the organisational chart, especially within the Plumbing team
- Workload pressures, role clarity, or psychosocial hazards arising from these reporting line changes
- Any other aspect of the proposed realignment.
Please contact the PSA Member Support Centre as soon as possible to submit your feedback. This can be de-identified upon request:
