Child protection case workers’ union takes aim at Family and Community Services resourcing in Hunter New England after accreditation failure – Newcastle Herald

Following a report in the Newcastle Herald that the Hunter New England branch of FACS risked losing its accreditation after failing to meet the standards of the Office of Children’s Guardian, PSA Assistant General Secretary, Troy Wright hit back stating the problem is due to poor resourcing in the high demand region. “It’s almost as if it’s been set up to fail,” he said told the Newcastle Herald.
