The PSA has been advised by The Department of Education (DoE) about a number of induction conferences that are being run throughout February and March.
These conferences are generally for newer staff and give an overview of the department. However, even if you have worked at a school for quite a while, if you have not attended an induction or conference before we recommend you register to attend.
You can see what’s happening in your area here: https://education.nsw.gov.au/teaching-and-learning/professional-learning/professional-learning-for-non-teaching-staff/course-catalogue-for-non-teaching-staff/induction-conference-for-school-based-non-teaching-staff
Better training and conferences for all classifications

As always the PSA will be there!
We love to hear from our members when we are at conferences, so come and say hi, and if you have any colleagues that haven’t joined yet bring them along to the PSA table for a chat.
Two easy things you can do to support your union:
- Support the work of the PSA and delegates by asking your colleagues to JOIN their union.
- If members you know have not received this bulletin, forward it along to them and ask them to update their details by emailing them to
