Community Living Award error – Nov 2019 (PDF version)
In October the CPSU NSW wrote to ARUMA on behalf of 31 staff who had been incorrectly taken off the Community Living Award (the Copied-state award) and asked the company to correct the error.
This email is to advise you that we have now received a response from ARUMA.
ARUMA has confirmed the following:
- The employee’s employment will be immediately subject to the terms and conditions of the copied state award
- All the terms and conditions of the copied state award will apply
- Any back-pay owing will be processed, and the figures will be updated accordingly to the date of payment
- The current mode/status of employment remains unchanged.
ARUMA has stated it will provide an impact statement for each employee within four weeks.
