Congratulations on your new schools delegates! - Public Service Association

Congratulations on your new schools delegates!

On Thursday and Friday last week your newly elected delegates to the Schools Departmental Committee met to discuss issues of concern to members working in schools and plan what they want to achieve representing you over the next two years of their term.

Delegates will be kicking off with several big-ticket items important to our members including the negotiation of the Crown Employees School Administrative and Support Staff Award 2024 which is due for review and pushing for more role specific face to face skills-based training across all classifications.

PSA delegates represent you with management

Your union advances your interests at meetings with representatives from the department’s Industrial Relations Directorate called Joint Consultative Committees (JCC). The purpose of a JCC is to establish a regular forum for collective workplace and industrial issues to be raised with management and addressed collaboratively.

If you have collective workplace issues you’d like raised at your next JCC get in contact with your DC delegate.
