CORPORATE SERVICES and PEOPLE & CULTURE RESTRUCTURE - Public Service Association

CORPORATE SERVICES and PEOPLE & CULTURE RESTRUCTURE

This restructure affects over 550 staff within Corporate Services and People & Culture.

While the Deputy Secretary advised there would be no loss of jobs, there will be significant changes to reporting lines and some functions and realigning.

The PSA is concerned that the matter expert who undertook the review and provided advice on the structures, has little or no understanding of the roles and functions of some of the teams.

The PSA held a lunch-time Teams meeting with affected members from the Corporate Services and People & Culture teams on Wednesday 17 August at 12:30pm and from this meeting the following concerns were raised: The proposed structure does not reflect the functions of the affected teams

  • Lack of clarity regarding the Major Projects team
  • Capability matching to new roles without Role Descriptions
  • The short consultation timeframe does not enable staff or the unions suitable time for constructive feedback.
  • How does WHS fit into the Property and Procurement Branch?

The PSA is requesting further feedback from affected members in the Corporate Services and People & Culture teams.

Please provide your feedback to PSA Organiser Michael Parsons at .
