Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) is undertaking a survey of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services across the Department to assess the effectiveness of current arrangements and processes.
EAP is a major part of the way in which Departments seek to support staff to improve resilience, mental health and wellbeing. Stand TALR, being rolled out across the state, directs staff to EAP; critical incident briefings are conducted by the EAP provider; and EAP services are provided at specific locations where there are known issues staff are dealing with. Furthermore, EAP is available individually to staff and managers, and their families, to assist them managing a range of issues.
Through the survey, CSNSW should be able to build a better understanding of our members’ views on the service and future needs.
The survey has eight questions and only takes around five minutes to complete. It can be accessed HERE.
