Court Reporters step up privatisation fight

On 29 May, members of the Court Reporters Vocational Advisory Group went to Parliament House and presented a petition containing 1,900 signatures to the Shadow Attorney General, Paul Lynch, Shadow Industrial Relations Minister, Adam Searle, and The Green’s David Shoebridge.

The petition protested against the looming outsourcing of court reporting and transcription duties.
