Department of Justice People Matter Survey 2016
Department of Justice People Matter Survey 2016 – May 2016 (PDF version)
The Public Service Commission (PSC) is again undertaking a People Matter Survey during May 2016.
As outlined within the Department’s promotional material this survey is for you:
- to communicate directly with your leadership team and ask you about your own work as well as your experiences of working with your team, manager and organisation.
The Association sees this as your opportunity as a member to tell the Department how it really is within your workplace. For example:
- you have a higher increase in workload with no recognition for the job you do
- you face uncertainty relating to your job security
- there is a continued push to do more with less from Management
- you face the threat of being privatised
- you don’t see a career path within the Department.
The Association has been assured by the Department that in completing the survey, your results are completely confidential. To ensure that confidentiality is maintained, the survey is being managed by ORC International, which is an independent research organisation:
The Department has further assured the PSA individual answers will not be seen by members’, supervisors, managers or angencies.
We urge members to say what is really taking place in their workplace, what is impacting on them and their fellow members.
