Disability Services rally – Thank you! – February 2017 (PDF version)

Dear Members,

Yesterday was a resounding success.

All across our union, thousands of members took strike action to call on our Premier to keep disability services public.

We held rallies and meetings right across our state in Albury, Tamworth, Bathurst, Lismore, Forster, Goulburn and Dubbo and countless other local actions.

I commend you all for taking this difficult step to strike and stand up for yourselves, for people with disability and for quality public disability services.

Here in Sydney, the pouring rain didn’t stop over a thousand members taking to the streets, completely shutting down King Street as we marched on Parliament House.

From everyone here at your union, we thank you for taking action.
