Discussions continue around the Service NSW restructure
PSA staff and Delegate Trina Leask met with management on 12 December 2024 to continue discussions around the Service NSW restructure.
Wave 1
These are now coming out of formal mobility stage. Impacted staff will continue to have priority access to Department of Customer Service roles before they go out to external recruitment.
Wave 2
The PSA was advised that impacted employees have been invited to webinars offering specialist advice on subjects such as resume writing and interview techniques. The webinars, which are being run through an external provider, have been well attended with between 50-60 staff at the sessions. The webinars will be run again in the New Year. We remind members to keep checking the employee resource hub for job updates.
Wave 3
Wave 3 are now going through Stage 2 Expressions of Interest. Unsuccessful employees will get a follow up welfare check and People & Culture will also reach out. Service NSW has committed to all Stage 2 outcomes being advised prior to the Christmas shutdown.
