Do you work on the front lines of Child Protection in the Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern District?
Regional Organiser Shane Elliott and Senior Organiser Belinda Tsirekas will be visiting your Community Service Centre to discuss current issues affecting members and provide an update on the recently made Child Protection Workers Award and new Overtime provisions.
We will also be conducting Workload Planner Lunch and Learns during these visits, so bring along your laptops. The current Workload Planner (WLP) is easier to use than you might think, and we urge you to put it into action because the fact remains – if it’s not measurable, it’s not manageable. The Workload Planner is the only tool to clearly demonstrate when you work above your 140 hours and is essential with the new overtime provisions.
We will also be discussing member benefits such as personal journey insurance, Union Shopper discounts, free ambulance cover and free will service.
Non-members are also welcome to attend and have a chat about the benefits of joining the PSA.
