DoE advises PSA of vaccine survey

Late Friday the PSA was contacted by the Department of Education (DoE) to advise that they will be undertaking a survey of school staff to gauge the rate of vaccination amongst employees.

The survey is entirely voluntary and is completely anonymous

No individual respondent will be identified and all survey results will be destroyed 30 days after the results have been collated.

The Department survey asks if you have had one or two vaccination shots, or if you do not intend to get vaccinated.

The PSA encourages those of you that feel comfortable participating to take part in the survey.

If you do not feel comfortable participating the PSA respects that choice and reminds all that the survey is voluntary.

If you have any questions or concerns contact your union delegate, PSA organiser or the Members Support Centre on 1300 772 679.

The PSA knows your safety is paramount

“It is the PSA’s fundamental view that safety must be the primary consideration for any plan to return students to school-based learning,” said PSA Senior Vice President and Chair of the Schools DC Juliette Sizer.

“What is important here is the safety of not just staff and students, but the entire community.”
