Draft Assignment to role guidelines - Public Service Association

Draft Assignment to role guidelines

Dear PSA members,

Last Friday I received the draft Assignment to Role Guidelines under the Government Sector Employment Act 2013 from the Public Service Commissioner.

These Guidelines address section 38 and 46 and temporary assignment under Government Sector Employment Rule 11.

The Guidelines are available HERE.

The PSA and other public sector unions have been invited to provide comment to the Commission by 21 November 2014.

The Strategy and Policy Directorate of the PSA is currently analysing the document.

When a precis of issues identified has been prepared it will be distributed to members for their consideration.

I will be meeting with other public sector union leaders this week to discuss the draft Guidelines.

The Public Service Commissioner has advised that it is his intention to finalise the draft by the end of December 2014.

In unity
