Email your MP today about Job Cuts

Today the PSA is launching an online action which enables you and members of your community to email your MP about the local impact of public sector job cuts.

All PSA members are encouraged to send a message to your local MP by clicking here.

		1.		Tell your local MP that as a resident of their electorate you are concerned about the impact of the 15,000 job cuts.
		2.		Demand that they confirm there will be no public sector cuts in your community.
		3.		And place them on notice that you intend to hold them accountable on polling day.

To coincide with the online action, the PSA is also launching a report titled NSW State of job cuts report July 2013 which illustrates the depth of the attack on the public sector.

The report uses modeling, based on public sector employee numbers obtained through the Government Information (Public Access) Act to show how the job cuts announced in the Government’s first two budgets would play out in real terms across NSW.
