EPA realignment bulletin

Realignment - Jan 2020 (PDF version)

The PSA is aware management has sent an email to workers regarding a new operating model for the EPA, including a document titled High level divisional breakdown Jan 2020.

The PSA understands members have major concerns over the extremely short consultation period that was laid out in this correspondence and over the lack of details that this document contains about roles, functions and the existence of certain sections of the EPA.

While the email states feedback will end on Friday 17 January, we can confirm consultation with the union on the realignment is ongoing and that this document is a start, not an end, to a more comprehensive consultation process. The next consultation meeting between your PSA representatives and management to discuss the realignment will be on next Thursday, 23 January, 2020. We will update members on any developments after this meeting.

So far, the PSA has received the following responses to the questions that members have asked. You can read it HERE.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please send them to your local delegate or to your Organiser. See names below:

David Bell, Newcastle

Jane Burgett, Goulburn Street

Judith Greenwood, Goulburn Street

Harry Wall, PSA Organiser
