Feedback on Spatial Services Restructure - Public Service Association

Feedback on Spatial Services Restructure

PSA has received a response from management to feedback supplied in relation to the proposed restructure of Spatial Services.

A copy of management’s response can be found here.

Acting General Secretary Troy Wright has discussed member concerns over job losses in an interview with Channel 7. This is a significant reduction of jobs in a regional area (Bathurst) with a suggestion of further reductions in Coffs Harbour and Nowra in years to come.

Troy is also briefing Minister Dib on the effect of this proposed restructure on the Government’s regionalisation policy. Finding new roles for dedicated officers in this specialised field will not be an easy task and it is imperative that the government understands what the outcome of such drastic measures could be.

While we await the implementation proposal PSA will continue to advocate on behalf of members.
