Final Restructure Management Plan outcome

Personal Injury Commission - Dispute Resolution Services - April 2021 (PDF version)

The PSA has only today, on 21 April 2021, received the final Restructure Management Plan (RMP) outcome. It was provided to staff at a town hall meeting held yesterday on 20 April 2021.

Even though the PSA is confident the vast majority of staff will be redeployed to similar roles within the structure it is deeply concerning to your union that the Department has only allowed for five working days for those staff in Stage 2 – Internal Suitability Assessment to apply for their role.

The PSA considers this is an inappropriate amount of time to allow for staff to ask questions and properly assess and apply for those roles.

The PSA has written to the Department seeking a further extension by another five working days to assist our members in this process. We have requested a response by midday on Thursday 22 April 2021.

If the Department is not agreeable to the requested extension, the PSA will seek the urgent assistance of the Industrial Relations Commission.

The PSA will look to arrange for a meeting with Dispute Resolution Services members early next week. In the interim, if any members have any concerns as to the finalised RMP please send an email to .
