Forests NSW Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) dispute

Forest NSW JCC dispute – February 2016 (PDF version)

On Thursday, 18 February 2016, the PSA participated with other unions in a dispute in the Fair Work Commission relating to Forests NSW’s attempts to undermine the Joint Consultative Committee by removing face to face meetings. The PSA views tele-conferences involving 18 people on them as unworkable.

Fair Work Senior Vice-President Drake expressed concerns about the workability of such an arrangement. She has asked the parties to talk and has re-listed the matter for 23 February 2016.
