Government Sector Employment Act comes into effect today

On Thursday 20 February, the Government published the new Government Sector Employment Regulation and Government Sector Employment Rules.

These come into effect today, Monday, 24 February 2014 along with the Government Sector Employment Act.

The Public Service Commission has advised the PSA that changes arising from the new legislation will be implemented in stages.

Members should contact the PSA if your agency or management try and take this opportunity to implement unreasonable changes.
