Inaugural Fair Trading Consultative sub-Committee meeting

Your union and local delegate met with management on 23 June 2025 for the inaugural Fair Trading Consultative sub-Committee meeting.

At the meeting the following matters were discussed:

Functional Review of Fair Trading

We were advised that a functional review is being undertaken. Roles in Fair Trading are being looked at across the board. We expect that regrading of roles should be considered within the scope of the review which should also drive recruitment. There may also be a reduction in SEB roles. We are expecting consultation in relation to the review recommendations to occur in July or August.

Personal Protective Equipment

PSA raised member concerns around sun protection, safety glasses vs prescription glasses, body-worn cameras. Your union and local delegate will meet with Safety and Wellbeing representatives to discuss further.

Agenda Standing Items

PSA has placed Work Health and Safety and Recruitment as standing items on the agenda, to be discussed at each Consultative Committee meeting going forward.

We remind members that Consultative Committee meetings are for collective matters eg WHS, Restructures etc. Individual matters should still be logged with Member Support by phone or email on 1800 772 679 or
