Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal: review of senior executive structure
The PSA has been notified that the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is commencing a review of its senior executive structure following a request from the Premier’s Department.
As part of this request, IPART is required to reduce senior executive numbers to 19 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions by June 2026. Currently, the senior executive FTE stands at 22.6.
IPART has committed that this review will be managed thoughtfully and transparently, with a strong focus on minimising change where possible.
Importantly, there will be no job losses for non-executive employees as a result of this process. While some realignment of reporting lines may be necessary they will aim to keep disruption to a minimum.
