Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal strategic workforce plan: Have your say on your working future

  27 August 2026

Yesterday, Wednesday 26 August 2026, the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) formally released its draft Strategic Workforce Plan 2026–2030 for staff and union consultation.

The consultation period is now open and will run until 5:00pm on Monday, 21 September 2026.

The Public Service Association of NSW (PSA) is reviewing the draft plan in detail.

What’s next?

To ensure our formal submission reflects the real issues and priorities of members across all branches, the PSA needs your direct feedback.

We want to hear from you:

  • Is your team experiencing unmanageable workloads or flex leave forfeiture?
  • Are acting opportunities and higher duties in your area advertised transparently?
  • What core technical skills or training are needed to bring outsourced consultant work back in-house?
  • Does the draft workforce plan address the practical challenges you face day-to-day?
  • Any other issues or concerns?

Have your say

Please review the draft Strategic Workforce Plan and provide your feedback, comments, or examples of workplace concerns to the PSA by emailing [email protected] by close of business Thursday, 17 September 2026.

Please quote case reference number C10022354 in your correspondence.

All feedback provided to the PSA will be treated with strict confidentiality and de-identified before being raised with management.
