On the 2 November 2026 the Department of Customer Service wrote to the PSA to advise of consultation on the Proposed IRO Finances/LAPS changes.
A copy of the change proposal was provided to the PSA. The document can be accessed HERE. Consultation on the proposed structure of the IRO Finances/LAPS commenced on Tuesday 2 November and will proceed until 5:00pm on Monday 16 November 2026.
Impact on Roles and People
- Proposed changes in the reporting lines.
- Creation of one new 5/6 role and one role ID with a proposed change to its reporting line.
- Title and minimal role description changes to the Finance Admin and Support Officer role, which will become ILARS Grants Admin and Support Officer.
