Thank you to everyone who attended our Members meeting on Thursday 15 July. Below is a brief update from the meeting.
Flex Leave
During Thursday’s meeting, a number of iPart members raised that Flex Leave was being denied in SAP when staff are over their 30-day Recreation Leave balance. This is an automatic system response and with many holiday plans continuing to be delayed, a number of members are finding themselves in this position.
If this applies to you, please provide written approval from your manager for conservation of your Recreation Leave when seeking approval to take Flex Leave. Attach clearance from your manager when raising the issues with GovConnect.
If this fails to resolve the matter, please forward correspondence to our Member Support Centre at quoting the call number 159129 and an officer will follow up.
Share this bulletin with your non-member colleagues who are experiencing this issue to start a conversation about the value of being a PSA member.
If you were not able to attend Thursday’s meeting, reach out to your fellow members and PSA Delegates to find out what you missed. We discussed issues that will be raised at the upcoming Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) meeting and there will be further communication to update members following this meeting.
We would like to remind members we are still here to support you during lockdown. We encourage PSA members to discuss their individual concerns with our Member Support Centre by calling 1300 772 769 or emailing
The PSA thanks its members for their continued adaptability and resilience during this difficult time. Stay safe everyone.
