The PSA is running online training sessions for North Coast Schools covering Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Essentials, Dealing with Bullying and Mental Health on your development day either 28 or 31 of January from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Find out what day will be given to SASS staff at your school as your development day and register to attend this training before the end of 2021.

The three-hour session will cover the following:

WHS Essentials What you need to know about employer and worker duties, ensuring proper consultation, representation and risk management in your workplace.

Dealing with Workplace Bullying What is bullying? Does what’s happened in your workplace fit the definition and what can you do to help prevent and manage bullying using a WHS approach?

Mental Health Is it a WHS issue? Why? What does a supportive workplace look like? How can we contribute to normalising conversations on mental health and how can we support others while looking after ourselves.

Register below and a link will be sent shortly after to join the Zoom session on the day. Individuals can register separately or a workplace can register if a number of people will be gathered in the one place.
