Over the last few years we have highlighted the work of SAO Science members and worked with elected delegates to raise workplace issues specific to those working in science.
We want to make sure all our members in science receive our targeted bulletins on things like the union’s push for the department to update the Chemical Safety in Schools resources, the focus of our delegates on ensuring there is specific training and professional learning for those working in labs and raising the specific and serious work health and safety requirements of working with dangerous materials.
Even if you only work one day in the science labs please update your details with us so we can communicate effectively with you about what’s happening in the workplace and how we are working for you.

1. You can call us and update your details over the phone. You can contact our membership department on 1300 772 679. Choose option 1 to speak to someone in the membership section.
2. If email works better for you, email the PSA membership department, let them know you are a SAO working Science and request that they update your details. If needed you can also update your home address, work location or contact details by sending them through to
3. Go online and LOG IN to the members only area. Once you’ve logged in you can update your details including work location, home address and contact details. This is the best way to ensure that all your details are correct as you can review all of them yourself.
