On 7 September 2018, the PSA issued a bulletin about management’s plans to introduce open plan offices into the Grants Division.
We are currently investigating this and have organized a meeting for members on Monday, 17 September 2018.
At this meeting, we will be asking members to fill in the survey below to allow us to compile a report to present to management.
Open plan has been proven time and time again by a variety of studies to be majorly detrimental to workers’ health, productivity and the culture of the office. However, management seem determined to implement this.
The PSA is dedicated to fight for better working conditions and a healthy office culture and an open office plan will not allow for this.
It is essential that you fill out this survey to ensure that your voice is heard. Fill in the survey HERE.
If you’re free on 17 September 2018 at 12pm come to the members’ meeting in the Conference Room 1 on the Ground Level.
If you know anyone in the Grants Division, we encourage you to contact them and get them to join the union. It is essential, especially in times of change like this, that people are a part of their union in order for it to represent you and get the best outcome for members.
Sign up online HERE.
If you have any other concerns or issues you can contact the PSA Member Support Centre on 1300 772 679.
