Looking back at 2022 - Public Service Association

Looking back at 2022

We are nearing the end of a year where we took to the streets and showing how vital our members are to the people of NSW.

Many of our members walked off the job and marched through Sydney, Newcastle, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth, Bathurst, Dubbo, Broken Hill and Tweed Heads to show the state that we are essential to NSW and we do not deserve to see our wages go backwards.

It was heartening to lead a union whose members are not afraid to stand up and be counted.

In addition, we saw members in our private prisons say enough is enough and they too walked off the job for better pay and conditions.

It was proven, yet again, how important we are to the state when the heavens opened, flooding large parts of NSW and spurring our members into action. Once again, it is when the elements are at their worst that you see our members at their best.

Of course, our members are at their best every day, protecting and serving the people of NSW and making the Premier State such a great place in which to live, learn and work.

You are all Champions of the State and NSW could simply not function without your work.
