The Public Service Association of NSW (PSA) is the only union covering all workers at Multicultural NSW (MCNSW), including interpreters and translators.

We have been contacting all interpreters and translators working for Multicultural NSW to invite you to JOIN because your pay and conditions are under attack.

HUGE CUTS to your take home pay and your entitlements have been proposed by Multicultural NSW

Despite many objections raised by affected workers and by the PSA, MCNSW has filed an application in the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC), intending to replace the current Crown Employees Interpreters and Translators Award 2019 with a rewritten award that severely reduces the pay and conditions of Interpreters and Translators.

The award application is not by consent and the PSA will contest the reduction of pay and conditions in the IRC.

The proposed changes are dramatic and could see your take home pay reduced drastically.
